Driveways

The drive is the first thing anyone sees and the last thing anyone should have to think about. Ours are placed on a compacted base, pitched to drain away from the house, and jointed so the slab cracks where we cut it and nowhere else.

The problem
Cracked, crumbling driveway with poor drainage causing puddles, ice hazards in winter, and a worn-out appearance that hurts curb appeal and property value.
What we do
Full tear-out and replacement in 4,000 PSI reinforced concrete, with a compacted stone sub-base, positive slope away from the garage, and control joints cut and sealed on a grid sized to the pour.

Removal of the failed sections, a recompacted stone base, and new 4,000 PSI concrete placed to a running slope, with control joints at the spacing the walk width calls for and isolation joints where it meets the drive and the steps.

Tear-Out & Replacement

When a slab is cracked through, sunken or heaving, patching buys a season. We take it out, fix what moved underneath, and pour it again.

Demolition and haul-away of the failed slab, the subgrade cut back and recompacted where the soil caused the failure, then new 4,000 PSI reinforced concrete placed to grade and jointed to match the work around it.
